The RACE Darwin

The RACE (The Racial and Cultural Experience) is an ‘Amazing Race-style’ competition that was held on 25 June 2016 aiming to bring together the many diverse cultures woven into the community tapestry of the NT and to promote inclusion of all. As per the ‘Amazing Race’ competition, there will be multiple different stations across Darwin city, each station representing a different cultural group and activity that pertains to that culture. Fifteen teams made up of young people from ages 15-30 will work their way through these stations, unravelling challenges, to be announced The RACE winners.

ShoutOut!

Shout Out! is a youth led community that brings together young people to normalise mental illness; in order to give better and more relevant support to those suffering with a mental health issue.

Kaleidoscope: Youth Leadership Summit

A long-term dream of MyNT finally became a reality with young leaders from around the Territory converging together for a weekend to share skills and develop ideas for change-making projects.

Darwin Youth Organisations Network

is a made up of representatives from active youth for youth organisations in and around Darwin.

Tectonic Youth Radio

is a youth run radio show broadcasting at Darwin 91.5 FM XStream Radio on Sundays from 3-4 pm. Tectonic is brought to you by the Multilingual Broadcasting Council NT (MBCNT) in partnership with MyNT.
